For all you Kingsland Road fans out there I will probably make you incredibly jealous...... I was privileged to meet and photograph the boys at a private set in London.
For those of you who dont watch the X-Factor, Kingsland Road are a five-piece boy band from East London, made up of Josh Zaré , Joe "Connor" Conaboy, Jon James "JJ" Thompson (known by his surname), Matt Cahill and Jay Scott. Zaré and Conaboy knew each other from college, and invited Scott, Thompson and Cahill to form a band after seeing them on YouTube. They named themselves "Kingsland" as they all hailed from the street Kingsland Road.
As part of their appearance on the X-Factor they sang "Don't You Worry Child", then "Treasure" at the arena. They performed "For Once in My Life" at bootcamp and at judges' houses they sang "Dance with Me Tonight" (in front of original artist Olly Murs) and "A Thousand Years".
